Guilt Tripping

All of the sudden, America is a bad place, and Americans are bad people. We are racists, white supremacists, xenophobic, gun nuts, right-wingers, insurrectionists, and haters of all sorts. Yet somehow people spend much time and effort to immigrate here. Some even risk their lives. How can this be?

I think our political class has become so corrupt and paranoid that they project their guilt on the very people who pay their wages and find their lavish benefits package. The politicians want to limit our freedom to speak out against their corruption and make doing so a crime. They have made us the enemy to cover their dirty deeds and deals.

Divide and conquer is one of the oldest tricks in the book, and it still works on too many of us. Wake up and know who the real enemy of a free Republic is, corrupt and self-serving politicians.
