At the tender age of 18, I saw it closeup while stationed there in the Army. It was huge then, hard to imagine now. Visited there a few times since, and it was bigger each time. "The government is like a dragon, the more you feed it the bigger it gets. It will never get smaller." Lao Tsu
Personally, I see politics as a false form of dualism (I'll be writing more about dualism vs. non-dualism soon). This faux dichotomy forces a wedge in an individual adherent's psyche, regardless of the letter associated with their chosen party: D, R, I, L, etc. Millions of wedges form distinct groups in society, which conveniently helps the CONs with their "divide-and-conquer" strategy.
So, while the weaponizing of Federal agencies is surely a bad thing, the fact that we even *have* Federal agencies is the underlying problem. The USA experiment has been thoroughly corrupted (and lately I'm questioning if it was even legitimate to begin with). And let us not forget that the word "government" literally means "mind control," so, no mind-controlling entity, no problem.
Most people are quite clearly brainwashed into believing that society would turn into Mad Max without government. I mean, yeah, there would be factions of idiots running around trying to steal and causing physical harm in the process, but don't we already have that with government agents/agencies?! I think we'd be best to lock up these illegitimate, irredeemable bands of criminals and deal *straight on* with any petty street criminals who cause trouble!

Thanks for the heads-up, Bert.
