Have studied and loved Dante's work since youth. Means something different to me now, then it did in decades before.
Never thought it was real until the last 5 years.
Funny how our perspective changes with aging, mostly for the better, I think.
Reading his work makes you wonder which is considered real, metaphor or some combination of both.
I have already experienced some of the downward spiral and am looking forward to the upward ascension one day, and seeing the face of true love.
