Nah, you're not missing anything, Bert. Although I am a little surprised that vendors in Texas of all places are going along with the scam, especially if they are small businesses. As my friend Frank recently observed, the reason they go along is always either denial or investment.
Let's keep working toward freedom, and pull the rug out from under these CONs.
"While the statute provides that U.S. money is legal tender that may be accepted for the payment of debts, it does not require acceptance of cash payments, nor does it provide that restrictions cannot be imposed upon the acceptance of cash."
That says a lot about the banksters' fiat currency, doesn't it?!
Also, why would they have made that a law? Looking to the future of a totally digital and cashless society, perhaps?
Great research and thank you for doing that. The kids and grandkids have been keeping me busy and time for my favorite past time has been limited.
We are going to have to do some work arounds with this digital money, like barter, trade, and perhaps our own system of payment based on what we deem valuable. The more controlling they get the less control they will actually have.
I'm glad you're spending so much time with your kids and grandkids!
My husband and I have been doing some bartering, trade for services. I'd love to get all my debts paid off soon and be as close to *done* with their slave systems as possible.
And I agree that their greed WILL come around to bite them, and hard. Although I'm sure they've got contingency plans. I remain vigilant (I can't really be any other way, actually!).
I have a lot to pay forward as my grandparents raised me being a petulant teenager.
I agree with you that their system will fail and the thing about it is they’re killing off the middle class in the process, in the middle of class this world wealth is created.
"I have a lot to pay forward as my grandparents raised me being a petulant teenager."😆 Have fun paying forward!
It seems that the CONs are trying to turn the middle class into a slave class, but as usual they're doing it in a stupid, inverted way. They really are not intelligent so a lot of what they project fails. I was talking with my husband last week about how our entire current banking system is already a crumbling mess, and yet the CONs want to drop the 8,000 lb. gorilla of digital currency on top of it. Gonna get ugly as they continue to move forward with it. Let's get our trading ledgers ready!
Like, you know how in most of 'Merica, "covid" is over and now they're beating war drums? It's the same playbook they used with the [not] Spanish [not] Flu and the war / financial crisis. It's really all they've got. If only more people would see that these are all projections, machinations, not organic events and situations. It's all an imposition of Problem→Reaction→Solution.

Thank you for commenting. Right after writing this, I wondered if it is legal not to accept legal tender?
I was going to bet that it is not legal, but:
