Unfortunately many bishops within the USCCB have absolutely no supernatural faith and have replaced the faith with being SJW’s. This abandoning of the core tenets has allowed a moral relativism to creep into the Church and the abandonment of the flock. Still needing money to facilitate their lavish lifestyles, they saw USAID as a source while giving it moral cover to fund all types of human trafficking. These evil people will be judged harshly on judgement day and deservedly so.

The fish stinks from the head. Francis encouraged wokeness within the faith.

What has always infuriated me is the constant cry of poverty from the Catholic Church, the shuttering and consolidation of parishes due to “lack of money”. The Church is sitting on billions of dollars or art; paintings, sculptures, books that are buried in vaults and unseen for generations. It’s sickening that it relies on government for funding, as well as from its parishioners.

I agree with you, this is why I volunteer and do not give money.

I struggle with going to Mass consistently. The homilies are usually non sequiturs to the messages of the readings and Gospel. I’ve gone to 6 parishes in my area trying to find a more religious pastor.

We have had some good Priests, but they always move them around, so you never know what you are getting. The homilies are usually pretty dull, but sometimes they can be inspiring. I get more out of volunteering than I get out of mass most times. The Fellowship is important to me.

Indeed Bert, Jesus' only act of violence was to eject the money-lenders from His temple!

Jesus at the Temple: "Jesus entered the temple courts and drove out all who were buying and selling there. He overturned the tables of the money changers and the benches of those selling doves. “It is written,” he said to them, “‘My house will be called a house of prayer,’ but you are making it ‘a den of robbers." [Matthew 21:13, Isaiah 56:7, and Mark 11:15-18] - New International Version.

The love of money can be fatal! Are the billonaires happy? Umm - I think not, I think they fear losing what they have, and not getting what they want - which is unlimited power - a privilege only accorded to My Great Creator!

Sort of says it all, Bert!

That was excellent and proves that nothing is free in this world. There is always a price to pay. It breaks my heart that the Catholic Church was taking money from the government to facilitate illegal immigration, human and child trafficking, and all of the evils associated with that process. At this point, they seem unrepentant, but that will not save them in the end. As always, thank you for your friendship and comments.

Likewise Bert - I have close internet friends in NC and Florida. I am planning to visit them next year on my way to UK, to visit my four children and nine grandchildren plus one great grandchild is on the way now. I will keep you informed if it is my Creator's will, so be it. Where do you stay?

You know them, where ever they are, what ever organization, by their fruits.

Be well, Godspeed and follow the narrow path dear beloved ones.

Yes, it's a hard read... and not sure of all of it, just investigating and trying to understand how 'there is nothing new under the sun'. And not to say that book is right, just noticing that patterns of oppression and lies have taken place with various groups who claim to work for God - yet end up doing some quite upside down things. And it's not about hating, just calling out things that are harming and wanting to grasp even more what Jesus really taught and left for us. Godspeed dear Bert!
