It was always thus.

Money won't fix it.

The parents need help.

I do not think money alone will fix it, and yes the parents do need help. When I was a kid, we went to the county welfare office and received commodities. Powdered eggs and milk, canned meat, peanut butter, pancake mix, flour, sugar, canned fruit and vegetables, and a big block of cheese. That kept us from starving. My parents used the money for cigarettes and booze. You don't have to live in poverty to understand it but it helps. Giving the parents money is not a good solution in most cases.

Thank you, my friend. I have been thinking about this quite often while watching this inflation and money printing destroy people’s lives, not to mention the large transfers of wealth. The rich are getting richer and the middle class is disappearing, this is not mere happenstance.

Nice Bert - twas ever thus. Violence comes in many disguises and the women and children are always the innocent collateral damage (US slang for killing civilians). As a writer, I believe that the power of words goes beyond the battlefield and the Yanks are very good at concealling intentions behind a wall of obfuscation. But then, they are rooted in the Anglo-Saxon ethos - I am not surprised. I am writing about this pugnacious tribe on Saturday.

Thanks for reading and commenting. It is all too obvious that we are living in soft tyranny in the West, soon to become more like China who has close to total control of their subjects. Our grand total of mass murder in different ways is on par with the Communists over

history. We may even have them beat.

I look forward to reading your post tomorrow.

Thanks, Bert. I don't believe we will descend into a totalitarian Eastern culture - we in the West are too independent IMHO.

Scroll down to The Great Taking documentary about manipulation of all money. It’s over an hour long Bert, but captivating. Don’t understand all the financial terms but I was mesmerized.
