Most people do not realize that, Working to just meet their basic needs takes up so much of their energies. Then we consider the crime, disease and other factors involved with it, the picture becomes much darker.
Indeed. The poverty of critical thinking and courage weakens the spirit and is deleterious to the body politic. I just don't know if most people have the strength to say NO; they wouldn't know what to do with themselves if their leaders weren't there* telling them* what to do.
Thank you Sharine, busy with getting the garden ready for Winter and running Grandkids. I bet you and Ron were happy to get home and get back into the groove.
We've been gardening, too. Hoping we can get another few dozen tomatoes before the first frost. The weather is weird this year. I bought a bunch of my favorite herbs and planted two in our window garden box and the rest in pots as they will need to be brought indoors during low evening temperatures. Next is getting the garden boxes ready for winter greens. Ron has been doing big landscaping chores in between paying jobs. And we've got a couple of music gigs coming up.
Yes, it is good to be home after 51 days on the road.
Sounds like you have been busy. You two always seem to have things to keep you busy. I am impressed with your work ethic. Both of you were brought up with a great value system.
The Grandbabies are all about after school sports and keeping us busy running them around.
Well it is interesting that those of us with that strong work ethic recognize each other! Ron and I have a fabulous burgeoning tribe of mostly like-minded folks, and we count you in that group, my friend. Happy times running the Grandies! Every moment with them is precious.

It was not meant to be this way. But Adam&Eve took the bait. Garden of Eden went kaput. . .
Their free will and the abuse of it screwed us all.
We are the enemy and we are under attack.
I agree with that.

Glad to hear from you, Bert.

Thank you for that compliment, we are glad to be included. Agree with you on the Grandbabies, we will have them all this weekend.
