There is timeless wisdom in the Bible for every situation we may find ourselves in. This is a good example of that.
Weirdly enough Klaus proclaimed from the WEF doctrine, that the Chinese model of governance was the most acceptable to his bosses. I am confident we are seeing that unfold before our eyes right now, in a slow-motion collapse of the current hierarchy.
Can you argue against this method of social control for an orderly society Bert? Here's a neutral critque of China's system in action from a Brit who has lived there for three years - it speaks for itself:
That was hard to watch. My hope would be someplace in the middle, with a healthy balance on the freedom scale. It is hard to even conceive a middle ground in today's world with so much division and hatred.

So true Bert. The choice is either my Great Creator or Mammon. We have free will, so 80% it seems, choose Mammon. Sad but true eh? On Sundays, instead of worshiping in church, as was common back in the day, they worship at the supermarket, games, and social media. Bread & Circuses come to mind, and the Roman empire went down the same route. Ray Dalio has a great 45-min video explaining how empires cycle from birth to death over approx. a 250 year average span:
Ray is amazing at explaining complex issues and combining them. It is an excellent video that I find very believable and relevant to our current situation.
