We hear the ruling class in government talking about the New Green Deal. This is yet another way to control us even more. They want to lessen our dependence on fossil fuels and move to renewable energy sources that are much cleaner. Governments are historically the worst polluters. Visit DC and look at the carbon footprint of the federal government and everything that supports it. Look at the military bases, embassy compounds, and travel by government officials.
Personally I don't want governments to do anything, because when governments do something it's the people that have to pay for it in the end, and government always screws the pooch.
